The dancers, from Stand Up and Dance 4 Life Dance Crews train at the Elderpark Centre in Govan and their routine was choreographed by PJ Hendry and the EP Crew. The Govan All Sorts Choir then kept proceedings lively with a rousing performance of their specially written ode to ‘The Black Man of Govan’. The newly crowned Govan Queen, Rahat Baig, was joined by Cllr Stephen Dornan and Govan’s famous “Sheep’s Heid” to give the new look statue the royal seal of approval.
