Join us this Saturday afternoon to help design the entranceway to Govan Old. We’ll be working together to identify how this space could be transformed to better meet the needs of the local community, Govan Old and the Pearce Institute. We have a really interesting and laid back afternoon planned and it will be easy for everyone to get involved. So drop into Govan Old at any time between 2-7pm and bring along the kids – there will be activities especially for them. If the weather is good… we’ll see you outside!
This is the third of three events planned to re-design the entranceway to Govan Old. Local people are already busy researching the history of the site, and those investigations are carrying on between events. Last weekend, people joined our walkabout in Govan to identify what makes a good public space and they started to bring good ideas together on how this space could be improved – even suggesting a few new names.
